Bowling League Thoughts

I thought I'd make a quick post about league bowling:
It seems as though this season of bowling my team in league has been struggling despite my fairly good personal performance on the bowling lanes. The first three quarters of this season have me averaging roughly 217 or so over roughly 63 games. This is one of my better seasons so far but my teammates have struggled and we are near the bottom of the standings. I've got to say, it's frustrating but I won't give up.
Today starts the fourth quarter of league and if we win this quarter we will be in the playoffs for first place in the league. At the beginning of the season I made a goal to average 220 for the duration of this league and for me to do that I would have to average 228 for the next 8 weeks. Assuming I can average 228 for 8 more weeks I know we will have a great shot at having a great 4th quarter under our belts... and hopefully we can win the it and make this season a season to remember.
Tonight is week one! here we go!
In other news, last weekend Flor and I went to Albequerque, NM and I (and nearly she) bowled in the USBC Open. I bowled this event last year and did great, this year I did pretty good too. Later this week I will craft a post to go into more detail with scores, pics, and video so look for that coming soon.
