It's really interesting you've had two 800s, but no 700s on the year. I bowl in Minnesota, where the change of seasons leads many to believe there's a correlating change of conditions. Do you find much of a change in your house(s) throughout the season?

You know that's a funny observation which I hadn't even noticed. I haven't noticed a change of condition either due to the changing seasons but that's probably because of the mild climate we get year round here in San Diego.

For me my two 800's came in the second half of the season where I made a big chnage in my game. I started throwing urethane for games 2 & 3 on the 11th of January and most every week since. The change has really helped my average and overall scores... I just have't had any 700s. Weird.

I don't know if it's real or perceived, but weather doesn't seem to affect things quite it used to "back in the day." At the house I'm at now, since our mild spring, I've noticed just a little more snap on the backends. Really just about a two-board foot adjustment. We seem to be getting some weird pin reactions to go with it. Could be just a coincidence, too.
