One of the most popular types of birthday parties for kids these days is the bowling alley birthday party. You take a big group of kids out to the lanes, rent them all bowling shoes, pay for an hour or two on the lanes, and have a great time. Bowling center’s love hosting these parties because they are so lucrative. As a parent however they are costly and in the event your child takes a fondness to bowling the rental cost of shoes is going to add up.
As an avid bowler myself I’m a big fan of the kids taking an interest in bowling and wanting to do it more. These parties are a good way to get kid’s bowling from a young age and they are a way of getting them into the sport but without graduating them to leagues and practice outside of a one-time party scene they are unlikely to become avid bowlers.
As a parent if you want your child to be bowling just to give him or her an activity to be involved in then bowling is a great option. Normal practice and league bowling is quite affordable when compared to the high cost of bowling parties but the best way to limit your expenses is to bit the bullet and buy your kids bowling shoes before you eat too many bowling shoe rental fees.
When I was a kid I rented shoes for $1 and I went bowling every week one to two times. Very quickly I find yourself a decent pair of cheap bowling shoes which I was able to save money on in the long run. It only took a couple months before I offset my shoe rental expenses. These days the purchase of bowling shoes for kids will pay you back much quicker as bowling shoe rentals are sometimes $3-$4 a piece.
If on the other hand it looks like your child is interested in bowling in a league, learning to throw a hook, and possibly competing in bowling on a regular basis then it may be worth looking into higher end kid’s bowling shoes from the likes of Dexter, Ebonite, Lindz, or Dynothane. Some of these shoes can be found on Amazon and the prices might be lower but you will get a lot more selection by shopping over at Bowling.com as well.
The above kids shoes are good options but the best are found over on Bowling.com in their kid’s shoe section. They usually have excellent discounts so you can be sure you’re getting an excellent price. Here is the direct link to the kid’s bowling shoe section.

An exciting day for most children is an excursion to your local bowling alley. If you go frequently, sometimes the costs can add up as you will be renting bowling shoes. For bowling enthusiasts or just any child with a love for bowling, it may be a good option to look into getting a pair of bowling shoes.
I don't have an idea that kids nowadays are onto bowling. Besides its a nice game why am i wondering. The shoe looks good by the way!
Kids should be comfortable with the shoes that they are going to wear, And yes, I agree that you should just buy yourself a pair of bowling shoes rather than renting all over again.
